Fans of Nuneaton Town and Coalville Town wouldn’t have expected to be seeing each other playing in a friendly nor playing Step 6 football this time last year. However after the demise of Nuneaton Borough in January and fans and sponsors coming together to form the club and Coalville's financial uncertainties leading to voluntary relegation, this is precisely what is happening. With Nuneaton playing in the Midland Football League Division One and Coalville heading to the United Counties Premier South for 24/25 season, this will be a good test for both sides' in preparation for their respective seasons. We look forward to facing a club who have been through their own struggles and also gratefully received the advice and guidance of the Football Supporters Association.
Directions from Nuneaton town centre: Head for Hinckley on the A47 and A5, then take the 1st exit at McDonalds onto the A47 Hinckley bypass. After the 4th roundabout (passing Morrisons) turn left at the traffic lights onto the A447 towards Ibstock. Continue on the A447 through Ibstock until reaching Ravenstone, turn right at the traffic lights onto Leicester Road (signposted Hugglescote). On reaching Donington le Heath village take the first left onto Highfield Street, continue straight on onto Gutteridge Street, follow to the end and turn left onto Owen Street, the ground will be down a driveway at the end of the road.

Public transport is generally unavailable as Coalville doesn't have a train station. Buses are available via Leicester, but the full journey takes around 2 hours.
